Santa Secret Southern Christmas Lights Novella Linda Leigh Hargrove Books Reviews

  • I love short stories! They’re like the perfect snack between larger meals. The book was delightful and relatable. The bondages of shame and pride make it a good lesson example; and the way the characters stay in connection with God throughout their struggles is awesome.
  • The thing about short stories is they are too short. I really enjoyed reading Chelsea story but Marc had too many secrets. It was a good read. I don’t want to go into much detail and give all the goodies away. Linda well done. I hope to read about Chelsea and Marc again and Freddie too.
  • A quick read but a sentimental and real story. Amidst romance novels, it can be inspiring to read about people who are down in their luck but find hope in each other during those difficult, trying stages in life. M. Waterman definitely had a lot to work with in maintaining hope!

"Santa's Secret" by Linda Leigh Hargrove

    My Thoughts.....

A good Christmas novella that featured two characters Chelsea Parker and Marc Waterman in a quick sentimental and very relatable story. It was quite interesting as Marc's secrets all comes out in him being one 'remarkable, caring and honest person.' Will Chelsea finally 'heal from past huts and find a way to love again?'

Well, you will just have to pick up "Santa's Secret" to find out. All in all we get a good Christmas romance that was simply sweet.
  • I enjoyed this but there were parts that bothered me a little. I voluntarily chose to review this and I've given it a 4* rating. Near the ending, there was some unrational rage. Anyway, parts were funny but you could tell, there was healing needed.
  • I loved the dialogue! all of it.
The characters were all well done. I like that it was a Christian without being staid.

A lot of stuff going on, but the story didn't seem rushed.
  • A wonderful, romantic story about how freeing it is to forgive others and forgive yourself! I can hardly wait for book 2! Job well-done, Linda
