- I read Nancy Drew as a child and decided to check out the new age Nancy Drew. It is still suspenseful and the updated Nancy is still very precocious. The ghostwriters are doing a great job of carrying on the Carolyn Keene pen name. I tried to solve the mystery early in the book but the few twists they threw in were pretty good, it kept you going to the end. I'm pretty sure teenagers today who like reading would like this in their library.
