I had forgotten how lovely or moving some of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales are. I found an English eddition of some of his fairy tales in a box in our garage that I had bought at the time for our daughter. I found some of the same fairy tales in there, but I also discovered that sometimes the translation is somewhat different. For example in one book translation is given as gnats but when I looked up the word it was "mosquitoes" and that makes more sense. So I have to use the dictionary a fair amount but his stories are so wonderful that the extra work is well worth it.

H C Andersen is one of my favorites, and it's a delight to read his stories and tales in Russian language!
Could use more illustrations.
