Although this differs from most of Lincoln's stories, in that it gives us a real villain to hiss and boo, it manages to foil the villain's plot quite handily. I, for one, am delighted by the absence of the hackneyed
and detailed sex scenes that seem to be mandatory in modern novels. - Keziah is a cheerful soul, upbeat & pleasant. though there are some not so pleasant parts to the story
- Not many people know of Joseph Lincoln now. Excellent writing and excellent stories.
